Frequently Asked Questions

How old do you have to be to participate in these trainings? Answer: Our programs are designed for 14-19 year olds.

What if I can't attend all the classes in a series, can I still get certified? Answer: TWP certificate program is specifically designed so that each class builds upon one another. To be certified, teens must attend all sessions. However, we understand that unanticipated circumstances do arise - TWP will work with you to find time for one make up session per Series.

Do I have to live in Foxboro to participate? Answer: Absolutely not! Anyone can attend our programs. We are a Foxboro based non-profit, so currently our classes will be held in Foxboro. But we plan to expand quickly to other towns in MA. If you are interested in having a program in your town - please contact us!

What is your cancellation policy? Answer: If you find out that you signed up for a Series that you can no longer make, we allow for cancellations up to 5 business days before the first class.

My teen is on an I.E.P. Is this program right for him/her? Answer: Right now, our program isn’t able to implement the specific accommodations listed in IEPs. We truly value inclusivity and hope to develop the resources needed to better support students with varying learning needs in the future.

Do you offer any individual/one-off classes? Answer: We do not yet offer individual classes. But, we hope to in the near future. The best way to stay on top of our plans is to join our mailing list. You can do so at the bottom of this page.

Can you help teens find jobs? Answer: While Teenwork Partners is not a job placement agency, we’re committed to helping teens explore real-world opportunities. We regularly share job openings and connections we become aware of, and all TWP members will have access to our exclusive online job board (currently in development).

Can I apply for a discount or scholarship? Answer: Absolutely! It is important to us as an organization to ensure all teens can attend our program, no matter their family's financial situation. Please message us at Kburg@teenworkpartners.org if financial assistance is requested.

What Teens Are Saying

Jacob - Norton, MA

Being on the Teen Advisory Council has provided great opportunities for me to step out of my comfort zone and grow personally.  I love working with people my age on tasks we can see we're making an impact on, and it feels great to know I can help others rise!
